Job summary

Mosaic Expert Sdn Bhd in Klang District, Selangor, is hiring an Account Executive for full-time service. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, client relationships, and financial records for a diverse client portfolio, delivering accurate and timely accounting support.

The role requires a diploma or equivalent experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and a solid grasp of basic accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting operations or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail; ability to explain concepts clearly to clients.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records for assigned client accounts, including income, expenses, payables, and receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations, transaction coding, and journal entry preparation regularly.
• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and accounting reports for client review and submission.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance documentation as required.
• Maintain organised client files, digital and physical, in line with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand accounting needs and provide professional guidance.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support tax return preparation and ensure compliance with deadlines.
