Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting environments.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate financial record-keeping.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations (preferred).
• Professional accounting qualifications or certifications (CAP, ACCA, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for client accounts.
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing, expense categorisation, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients in a timely manner.
• Respond to client enquiries and provide accounting advice on financial matters.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and financial information.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues promptly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships through regular communication and professional service delivery.
• Utilising accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
