Job summary

Poet Technologies Pte Ltd in Penang seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for semiconductor materials, components, equipment and services. You will collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance and Logistics to ensure material availability, cost competitiveness and on-time delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years in purchasing/procurement, experience in semiconductor/ electronics or manufacturing is preferred, and solid ERP/MRP knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Logistics or related.
• 2–3 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or equipment industry preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory and planning.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for semiconductor materials and services.
• Review material requirements and generate purchase orders.
• Procure materials, components, spare parts, and services.
• Monitor open POs and adjust orders for demand changes.
• Source and evaluate reliable suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance on CQD and resolve issues.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, MOQs, terms, and lead times.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor market trends.
• Maintain procurement data in ERP/MRP and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
