Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is seeking a Sales Manager in Malaysia to drive growth across education, government, and industrial training markets. You will lead a small sales team, build strategic accounts, and manage end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closing.

The role emphasizes developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and coordinating with technical and project teams to ensure successful delivery. Travel within Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience in technical sales, engineering solutions, industrial automation, or government projects preferred.
• Hunter sales experience with new business development.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities with universities, TVET institutions, government agencies, and corporate sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Sales Engineers to drive performance.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and project progress.
• Coordinate with technical, project, procurement, and finance teams for smooth delivery.
• Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.
• Provide sales performance updates and market intelligence to management.
