Job summary

Boost Bank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Regulatory Compliance Lead to establish and promote standards and oversee the compliance program across the bank. You will advise the CCO, CEO and Board on regulatory requirements and support governance of product lifecycles with a focus on effective controls and risk management.

Responsibilities include developing compliance policies, managing regulatory submissions, and leading staff training within a fast-paced, technology-driven banking environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of working experience in compliance, audit or risk management in the financial industry.
• Professional accreditation in regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide regulatory oversight and engagement for the Bank, including submissions.
• Design and manage a compliance management process and reporting.
• Monitor governance-aligned policies, procedures and framework.
• Oversee regulatory license applications, renewals and compliance conditions.
• Serve as 2nd line of defence to ensure strategies meet regulations and policies.
• Lead regulatory engagements and staff training on compliance.
• Identify and assess regulatory requirements for business lines.
• Advise governance of product/service lifecycle and conduct risk in agile settings.
• Lead internal control improvements.
