Job summary

TDK (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to coordinate procurement activities and manage supplier relationships in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The role focuses on cost control, delivery planning, and inventory balance to support production.

You will prepare regular logistic cost reports, supplier performance analyses, and monthly cost-up/down summaries while ensuring clear communication with all levels of staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree studies in Business or relevant studies.
• Good experience working in Excel sheets and basic functions of Excel.
• Preferably 1-2 year experience in Procurement/Purchasing in Electronics.
• Able to communicate effectively with any level employee.
• Proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin / Japanese added advantage)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality improvement and evaluation with QA department.
• Ensure all material claim report from supplier are properly followed.
• Apply CAPEX, prepare the PR, generate D-CAST.
• Price comparison and analysis for purchased material.
• Coordinate with vendor for request quotation and price negotiation.
• Discussion for incoterm, delivery frequency and delivery quantity with supplier.
• Perform credit or debit memo upon rejection or discrepancy Invoice.
• Monitoring logistic cost.
• Arrange delivery schedule and quantity based latest production plan.
• Prepare forecast to supplier.
• Monitor all supplier delivery schedule to fulfill production requirement.
• Meeting with planner to ensure material delivery schedule.
• To Manage Inventory at appropriate level.
• To prepare regular monthly reports for logistic cost.
• Generate Monthly Supplier Performance Report
• Generate Monthly Cost Up & Down Report
