Job summary

MASS Precision Malaysia seeks a Purchasing Executive to manage procurement activities for metal fabrication and EMS components. You will liaise with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Applicants should have 2+ years in Purchasing/Procurement in manufacturing, be computer literate, and able to communicate in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking clients. This is a full-time, on-site role in Malaysia with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related area.
• Minimum 2 years in Purchasing/Procurement/SCM in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing (Sheet Metal / Machining) preferred.
• Ability to converse, read and write in Mandarin for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Company Policy & Procedures and Department Procedures.
• Identifies management problems affecting production and quality.
• Responsible for acquiring, purchasing, and negotiating materials, equipment and supplies.
• Negotiates with vendors to obtain quotations, prices and delivery times.
• Evaluates vendor quotes and services against company objectives.
• Oversees purchasing logs and records for accuracy and follow-through.
• Monitors quality by reviewing costs, schedules, delivery timeliness and conformance to specifications.
• Ensures contracts with suppliers align with company objectives.
