Job summary

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is seeking a Purchasing Executive based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, to manage purchasing requisitions, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in a related field, be proactive and willing to learn, with experience liaising with Chinese suppliers and openness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proactive, independent and willing to learn.
• Experience liaising with suppliers from China and willingness to travel.
• Construction background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and obtain supplier quotes.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers.
• Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize obsolescence.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and finance to forecast demand.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure reliability.
• Utilize Autocount for inventory costs and performance reporting.
