Emerson Malaysia is seeking a proactive Materials Planner/Buyer to plan and schedule material demand, place POs with approved suppliers, and collaborate to ensure On-Time Delivery and optimal inventory levels.

You will work with production planners, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain ASCP/MRP parameters, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement across procurement and logistics functions.

Competenze

• Experience in planning, purchasing and inventory management.
• Knowledge of supplier coordination and procurement processes.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Plan and schedule material demand to support On-Time Delivery and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with planners on production requirements and ensure POR plan is met.
• Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Provide forecasts to suppliers and monitor delivery performance.
• Procure materials for manufacturing and customer needs.
• Support delivery, cost and quality performance for purchased materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on new projects and material requirements.
• Work with Warehouse on inventory status, storage and receiving matters.
• Resolve PO discrepancies with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support inventory reduction and ECN follow-up.
• Maintain work instructions, ASCP/MRP parameters and purchasing records.
• Participate in continuous improvement and align with company goals.
