Job summary

GOODNITE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage supplier negotiations, costing, and timely procurement to support production and projects.

You will maintain supplier records, issue PR/RFQ/PO, and resolve delivery or quality issues while exploring cost-saving opportunities. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to assist with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. The role focuses on ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely deliveries within a dynamic household goods

Qualifications

• Negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to analyze market trends and pricing.
• Preparation of PR, RFQ, PO and other purchasing documents.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, delivery terms, and payment terms.
• Prepare and issue PR, RFQ, PO, and other purchasing documents.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production and project schedules.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding POs for on-time delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues related to delays, pricing discrepancies, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Maintain approved supplier database and keep supplier information up to date.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.
• Analyse market trends and material price fluctuations to support purchasing decisions.
• Recommend alternative materials or suppliers where appropriate.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.
