Ray Tech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Purchaser to join our procurement team in Johor Bahru District, Malaysia. This full-time role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and services for our X-Ray Machine Manufacturing and logistics operations.

You will evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, issue purchase orders, and monitor performance while coordinating with operations to ensure stock availability.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Experience in semiconductors/manufacturing is a MUST.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Proficient with procurement software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Malay skills are a plus for internal coordination.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation.
• Experience in cost reduction and supply chain optimization.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with vendors to achieve optimal value.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

• Conduct market research to identify emerging suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timelines.
