Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a committed Purchaser to support procurement and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on material planning, supplier coordination, PO management, and ensuring timely material availability for production needs.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of purchasing experience, with strong MRP knowledge and ERP proficiency, and a proactive, analytical mindset.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in supply chain or related field.
2–4 years purchasing experience.
Experience in EMS/OEM/electronics manufacturing preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory planning.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Execute purchasing activities to support production and prototypes.
Manage MRP to ensure material availability.
Issue and manage purchase orders with pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery and quality.
Monitor inventory and minimize excess or shortages.
Resolve supplier delivery, quality, and invoice issues.
Support cost reduction including freight optimization and supplier negotiations.
Maintain purchasing data in ERP/MRP systems.
Collaborate with Planning, Production, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
