Job summary

GUH Circuit Industry (PG) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang is hiring a Material Planning Executive. This full-time, on-site role focuses on aligning forecasts with real-time demand and managing procurement cycles.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and planning accuracy. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, 2+ years in production control or planning, strong analytical skills, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field.
• 2+ years in production control or material planning, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong analytics, data-driven decisions and problem solving.
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Proficient in ERP-based planning and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage material requirements by aligning forecasts with real-time demand.
• Analyze usage to adjust planning parameters and minimize obsolescence.
• Generate reports on inventory health, fill rates, and planning metrics.
• Execute PRs, POs, and RFQs during procurement cycles.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track lead times and resolve delays.
• Participate in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate planning data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Finance to resolve issues.
• Review safety stock and drive continuous improvement in planning.
