Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Planning Engineer who is energetic and detail-oriented to support our fast growing organization.

This position will be a member of the manufacturing testing team in the company's headquarters located in Senai, Johor. The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for planning and controlling all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands, balance production and inventory levels with demand to master scheduling requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or materials management, including at least 1 year in production planning.
• Experience with operations, inventory management, MRP systems, and lean manufacturing; SAP or similar ERP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating plan summaries for assigned product families, including demand, inventory and production data.
• Plan and prepares production schedules to meet shipping dates according to forecasts or orders.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and monitor schedule performance to resolve delays and shortages.
• Maintain master schedules and ensure alignment with demand and capacity requirements.
