• Ability to effectively interpret and summarize statistical reports.
• Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent understanding of true material lead times for all critical assemblies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, including accurate data entry and experience with Word, Excel, Power BI, ad hoc queries, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
• Coordinates production planning activities including master scheduling and material requirement forecasts; involved in strategic capacity planning and confidential data.
• Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Resolves labor and material shortages, backlogs and other schedule interruptions.
• Develops and implements production control functions including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements planning, and manufacturing performance reporting.
• Approves quantities, schedules and parts lists to ensure timely ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
• Coordinates and implements Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in production.
• Analyzes long lead time parts and works with purchasing on custom supply solutions.
• Performs scheduling to ensure continuity of supply during transition to outside supplier.
• Works with various teams to implement ECOs and manage material availability.
• Adheres to quality, safety, legal, environmental policies and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
