Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Planning Team Leader 3 in Kuala Lumpur to oversee master planning, scheduling, and daily production control for select customers. You will lead the Scheduling team and collaborate with Business Office, IE, Production, and Procurement to ensure plans meet business goals.

The role requires strong analytics, leadership, and communication skills, with a background in electronics manufacturing. Travel may be limited and duties may evolve over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the master planning process for some/all customers at the site.
• Lead daily production control, production readiness decisions and directing Production Scheduling team.
• Develops, plans, provides data, analysis, and recommendations to make strategic labour resource and equipment decisions.
• Coordinate planning with Business Office, IE, Production, Procurement, Planning and customers to align plans with business goals.
• Identify business process enhancements and participate in their design and implementation.
• Track and report SCM metrics by customer by month.
