Job summary

PPG is seeking a Production Planner to work onsite at PPG Petaling Jaya, reporting to the Production Planning Manager. The role involves analyzing customer orders and forecasts, establishing production plans, coordinating with procurement for materials, and ensuring schedules meet delivery dates.

Responsibilities include batch card creation, inter-department coordination, and monitoring production to optimize output and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience.
• Experience preferred in chemical industry.
• Competent in using MS Excel.
• Experience in Oracle will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check and analyze customer orders and forecast trends.
• Establish overall production planning and scheduling to meet delivery dates.
• Perform production planning and scheduling, material planning for daily needs.
• Coordinate with Raw Material Planners and procurement to ensure supplies are available.
• Generate and issue Batch Cards and coordinate with departments on planning workflow.
• Monitor production planning to meet targets and reduce stockouts.
