Job summary

Century Bond Berhad is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing of goods and services, ensure alignment with price, quality, and delivery timelines, and support cost-saving initiatives across the organization.

The role involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, vendor registration and compliance, exemptions processes, and PO issuance, with strong emphasis on policy adherence and budget control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field.
• 2–3 years of procurement/supply chain experience (fresh graduates encouraged).
• Good understanding of procurement processes, policies and compliance.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software/ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of goods and services in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure procurement activities meet price, quality, and delivery timeline requirements.
• Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying reliable suppliers.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement process to ensure policy and budget compliance.
• Handle tasks: PR acknowledgement, vendor registration/compliance, exemptions (C1 & C3), vendor evaluation, PO issuance, vendor records.
