Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing of materials in line with company guidelines and customer contracts. You will focus on AVL adherence, price control, quality, and timely delivery to support production schedules.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace. You will work across multiple business groups in a dynamic environment, handling orders and optimizing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment across various functional business groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing of materials in accordance with Plexus guidelines and customer contracts (AVL adherence, unit price, quality, delivery).
• Make tactical buying decisions with respect to placement and management of all purchase orders, including rescheduling and cancellations; resolve discrepancies and invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate material to meet production plans; initiate corrective actions to avoid production delays.
• Collaboratively manage procurement automation processes, optimize data integrity, and decide when to leverage automation vs. exceptions.
