Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years related experience, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel; comfort with Google Workspace / MS Office.
• Ability to work in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing of materials in accordance with Plexus guidelines and AVL adherence, unit price, quality and delivery.
• Makes tactical buying decisions with respect to placement and management of all purchase orders; includes order placement, rescheduling and cancellations, and timely resolution of non-conforming material and invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate material to meet production plans.
• Initiate corrective actions and escalation to avoid impacting the production schedule.
• Collaborate to manage procurement automation processes, optimizing, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity for efficient purchasing.
• Decide when to leverage automation vs. request exceptions in overall execution.
