Jord International is seeking a Procurement Engineer in Selangor with 3–5 years of procurement experience in the oil and gas fabrication sector. You will source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to meet project timelines and quality targets.

Responsibilities include PO management, vendor qualification, expediting critical materials, and ensuring IMS/ISO compliance while coordinating with stores and logistics to support production.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably Oil & Gas
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience with steel structures, piping materials and fabrication processes
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities

Responsabilités

• Procure materials and equipment per PORs and project requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors per AVLs and specs
• Raise and manage POs; ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules
• Coordinate with Stores for stock and materials availability
• Lead supplier evaluations and maintain supplier relationships
• Prepare commercial bid evaluations and negotiate terms with suppliers
• Coordinate with Logistics for customs and shipping documents
• Ensure procurement activities comply with IMS/ISO procedures and policies
