Job summary

CelcomDigi Bhd, Malaysia's merged telco-tech powerhouse, seeks a Pricing & Bidding Analyst to shape competitive pricing for mobile products and services and to support end-to-end bidding.

You will develop pricing models, run cost analyses, and collaborate with EB stakeholders to win opportunities while safeguarding revenue.

This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to balance market competitiveness with profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, bid management, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex commercial and cost information.
• Good understanding of pricing principles, cost structures, and commercial profitability.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience with analytical or pricing tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and functional teams.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance competitiveness with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple bids and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend competitive pricing strategies for mobile products and services.
• Perform cost analysis, pricing simulations, and financial assessments to evaluate commercial viability.
• Work closely with EB relevant stakeholders to understand customer requirements and bidding strategies.
• Optimize pricing models to balance market competitiveness, revenue objectives, and profitability.
• Conduct pricing benchmarking and market analysis to support pricing decisions.
• Review and validate pricing assumptions, cost inputs, and commercial terms for accuracy and consistency.
• Support the end-to-end pricing and bidding process, including preparation of pricing submissions and obtaining relevant approvals.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
