Job summary

CelcomDigi Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Pricing & Bidding Analyst to develop competitive pricing strategies that drive growth and revenue. The role focuses on pricing models, cost and commercial analysis, and supporting bidding activities for mobile products and services.

You will translate requirements and market considerations into viable pricing proposals, work with stakeholders, and help the business win opportunities while protecting profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, bid management, or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Good understanding of pricing principles, cost structures, and profitability.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills; familiarity with pricing tools is an advantage.

• Review pricing assumptions, cost inputs, and commercial terms for accuracy and consistency.
• Support end-to-end pricing and bidding processes, including submissions and approvals.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

The Pricing & Bidding Analyst plays a critical role in developing competitive pricing strategies that support business growth, strengthen market competitiveness, and achieve revenue objectives.

This role is responsible for developing and optimizing pricing models, conducting cost and commercial analysis, and supporting bidding activities for mobile products and services.

The successful candidate will translate commercial requirements, cost structures, and market considerations into competitive and commercially viable pricing proposals that enable the business to win opportunities while protecting revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

Develop and recommend competitive pricing strategies for mobile products and services.

Perform cost analysis, pricing simulations, and financial assessments to evaluate commercial viability.

• Work closely with EB relevant stakeholders to understand customer requirements and bidding strategies.
• Optimize pricing models to balance market competitiveness, revenue objectives, and profitability.
• Conduct pricing benchmarking and market analysis to support pricing decisions.
• Review and validate pricing assumptions, cost inputs, and commercial terms for accuracy and consistency.
• Support the end-to-end pricing and bidding process, including preparation of pricing submissions and obtaining relevant approvals.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, bid management, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex commercial and cost information.
• Good understanding of pricing principles, cost structures, and commercial profitability.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience with analytical or pricing tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and functional teams.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance competitiveness with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple bids and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
