Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a Planning professional to support a major data centre construction project in Kuala Lumpur. You will help keep the project on schedule by tracking progress, identifying risks, and coordinating with site teams and trade disciplines to ensure timely delivery.

You will develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, track progress against baselines, prepare reports, and support delay analysis and recovery planning as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in project planning within construction, ideally on large-scale or data centre projects.
• Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and trade disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules (e.g. using Primavera P6 or MS Project)
• Track progress against baseline programs and highlight potential delays early
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and project management to gather progress data
• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and schedule analysis for management and client reporting
• Support delay analysis and recovery planning where needed
• Assist in resource and manpower planning across project phases
