Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or category management.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work with suppliers and business partners.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or convenience stores is an advantage.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Plan and manage product selection, pricing, promotions, and stock levels.
• Analyze sales, market trends, and customer demand to improve product performance.
• Work with suppliers on product selection, pricing, and promotions.
• Monitor inventory and slow-moving products, and take action to improve sales.
• Work closely with Operations and Marketing teams to support business goals.
• Monitor competitors and market opportunities through regular market visits.
• Prepare sales and merchandising reports for management.
• Lead and guide the merchandising team to achieve department targets.
