Job summary

Avery Dennison Malaysia is hiring a Material Planning and Production Planning Lead at the Kulim plant. The role reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on strategizing material and production requirements to support the plant's short-, mid-, and long-term needs.

Key duties include coordinating with Demand and Production Planning, managing inventory, leading outsourcing, driving cost savings, and delivering on-time production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in planning and team management in manufacturing.
• At least 10 years in material and production planning in foreign-invested company.
• Strong knowledge of material planning, production planning, scheduling, inventory control.
• Proficiency in data analysis and Oracle ERP.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Plan material and production requirements to support short-, mid-, and long-term plant needs.
• Collaborate with Demand and Production Planning to align and purchase materials.
• Manage inventory levels and drive lead-time, pricing, and sourcing improvements.
• Prepare KPI, Risk Inventory, Spend Data, and OTD reports for cost optimization.
• Oversee production planning, forecast management, and capacity improvements.
• Maintain on-time delivery and optimize end-to-end lead time.
• Lead outsourcing and Oracle system launches in Operations.
