Job summary

Avery Dennison in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate planning, delivery, inventory control and process improvement for coaters. You will schedule production and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet external and internal customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years in manufacturing, strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets abilities, plus knowledge of MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5–7 years in manufacturing environments, preferably with multinationals.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Self-initiative and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent teamwork and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production scheduling and manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements.
• Manage and control work in process, finished goods and slow-moving inventory to achieve KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling and delivery issues.
• Align with operations on production and delivery constraints and demand changes.
• Support demand planning, capacity planning and inventory optimization using MRP.
