Job summary

MFE Port Klang seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, materials planning, inventory coordination and logistics to ensure material availability, cost-effective supply, and timely delivery for manufacturing and customers.

You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and process improvements while coordinating cross-functional teams to optimise performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably aluminium, metal fabrication, building materials or a related industry.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation and cost management.
• Knowledge of international purchasing, import procedures, logistics and Incoterms.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in materials planning, inventory control and logistics coordination.
• Strategic, results-driven, with strong leadership and team management.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, high integrity and accountability.
• Collaborative with strong stakeholder management and planning skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
