Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure materials are available to support production and operational requirements.
• Coordinate material planning, replenishment and stock allocation based on production schedules and operational needs.
• Monitor material movement, including receiving, issuing, storage and stock transfers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities: sourcing, quotations, price comparison and purchase order preparation.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, quality products and favorable delivery terms.
• Follow up with suppliers on purchase orders, delivery schedules and outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance in terms of pricing, product quality, delivery reliability and service.
• Maintain purchasing documentation, supplier records, quotations and purchase order files.
