Job summary

MFS Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Batu Berendam, Melaka is seeking a skilled Material Planner for a full-time role. You will forecast material requirements, coordinate procurement, and ensure smooth material flow across manufacturing and logistics to support production schedules, reduce costs and boost customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Logistics with 2–4 years of planning experience, proficiency in ERP/MRP, and strong Excel data analysis.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
2–4 years material planning or inventory experience.
Experience with ERP and MRP is essential.
Strong data analysis and forecasting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Forecast material demand based on production schedules and orders.
Coordinate procurement for timely materials.
Monitor inventory and optimise stock holding.
Analyse supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
Prepare MRP reports for management review.
Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics.
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
Track discrepancies between planned and actual usage.
Maintain records of material planning activities.
