Job summary

Gutor, a leading international UPS manufacturer in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Material Planner to ensure on-time material flow and optimized inventory. You will manage DRP, stock parameters, and purchasing processes within a defined supply chain, coordinating with suppliers and shipping teams to prevent stockouts and delays.

The role requires a degree with strong English, teamwork, and computer literacy; experience with ERP systems like SAP MRP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any discipline with good command of English.
• Team player and able to work extra when required.
• Proficient with computers and office software.

Responsibilities

• Run Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) to optimize material flow.
• Define and update stock parameters to meet service levels while minimizing inventory.
• Manage PO portfolio, review stock discrepancies, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Liaise with shipping on import shipments and collaborate with finance on invoicing issues.
