Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Malaysia seeks a Material Planner to ensure on-time materials for production. You will work with Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and suppliers to maintain inventory levels and prevent shortages.

You will analyze demand patterns, schedule deliveries, manage inventory issues, and prepare performance reports, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with SAP/ERP systems and MRP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Determining the required materials and generating purchase requisitions.
• Ensuring consistent and adequate supply of materials for production.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, purchasing and quality to meet production goals.
• Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
• Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Prepare performance reports.
