Job summary

MERCHANTS GLOBAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead import/export activities, coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and optimize logistics.

The role requires strong documentation knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and multilingual communication across Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. You will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and customers, while driving efficiency and cost control in a growing food manufacturing and import/export business

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain, import/export or related field.
• 3–5 years in import/export, shipping, logistics or supply chain in food manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Good command of Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with diverse clients, suppliers, or associates

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export documentation and related procedures.
• Arrange shipping bookings, freight forwarding and transportation.
• Coordinate with supplier, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, transport companies and customers.
• Coordinate production and shipment planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse operations.
• Follow up on stock movement, inventory accuracy and slow-moving stock.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales and Finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
