Job summary

Gamuda Group is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Malaysia to lead strategic technology initiatives from concept to delivery.

You will bridge business objectives with technical execution, overseeing scope, budgets, and timelines while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure value and on-time delivery.

Applicants should have 5+ years of PM experience, a degree in IT/CS, and proficiency with MS Project, Jira and Asana. PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, CS or related field.
• Proficient with MS Project, Jira and Asana.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT project delivery, defining scope, goals, schedules, and resource plans.
• Establish and execute project plans using SOPs and governance frameworks.
• Track performance against milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
• Develop and manage project budgets; forecast expenditure and variances.
• Define required skill sets and assemble high-performing project teams.
• Handle vendor evaluations and contract management.
