Job summary

DAGANG NET TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD in Cyberjaya is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the PMO, manage post-production changes, and drive end-to-end software delivery.

The role requires 5–7 years’ experience delivering IT projects, a Bachelor's in IT/CS, and knowledge of PMBOK and CMMI, with PMP/PRINCE2 being a plus. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or CS.
• 5–7 years of relevant project delivery experience.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall project management function, coordinating PMO processes.
• Directly manage post-production change requests, initiatives, projects, and programs.
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure and software delivery.
• Ensure compliance with the organization's project management standards.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to PM standards.
• Track, monitor, and document all milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure all deliverables meet CMMI standards.
• Develop comprehensive project documentation per PM methodology.
• Document project plans for all relevant stakeholders.
• Lead internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution.
• Contribute to defining PM standards and best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall project management function, coordinating PMO processes and leveraging support from the project office.
• Directly manage post-production change requests, initiatives, projects, and programs.
• Oversee the end-to-end project management lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and project closure, along with software delivery and post-implementation processes.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s project management standards and guidelines.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to project management standards.
• Track, monitor, and document all project milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed CMMI standards.
• Develop comprehensive project documentation in line with the organization’s project management methodology.
• Ensure detailed documentation of project plans to serve all relevant stakeholders.
• Lead and manage internal resources, as well as third-party vendors, to ensure flawless project execution.
• Participate in vendor management strategies for selected outsourced projects.
• Contribute to defining project management standards and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Possessing a valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage
• Required skill(s): Strong knowledge of the end-to-end project management lifecycle, IT project management, and project portfolio management. Well-versed in CMMI methodology, with advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), and in-depth expertise in MS Project and Visio.
• Key quality(s): Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, patient and detail-oriented, with good report writing capabilities
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Desired experience/exposure: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in implementing delivery process improvements using PMBOK as the framework for project management. Over 5 years of experience managing software development projects
