Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 in Senai, Johor, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager/Assistant Manager to lead the Group's audit function, ensuring governance, risk management and internal control effectiveness. You will work with Management and the Audit Committee to strengthen the control framework and stakeholder confidence.

You will develop annual risk-based audit plans, supervise audits across the Group, review evidence, and present findings with practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA or CFE are advantageous.
• Manager: 10+ years internal/external audit with ≥2 years in a managerial role; Assistant Manager: 5–8 years with ≥2 years in senior/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Annual Risk-Based Internal Audit Plan.
• Lead operational, financial, compliance and project audits across the Group.
• Perform risk assessments and identify key audit areas.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Review and approve audit reports, working papers and evidence.
• Present audit findings, recommendations and status updates to the Audit Committee and Management.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions arising from audit findings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators on audit-related matters.
• Ensure Bursa Malaysia requirements and Internal Audit Standards are followed.
• Supervise, coach and guide audit executives during assignments.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes and governance practices.
