Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd seeks an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk‑based audits and strengthen internal controls across the business. You will plan audit work, engage with stakeholders, and guide the audit team through execution and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in audit and risk management, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. English proficiency is essential for reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in accountancy, finance or business, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant audit and risk management experience.
• High integrity, accountable work ethic and team‑oriented attitude.
• Strong auditing, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities; travel occasionally.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare a work plan by identifying high‑risk areas to be assessed during the audit.
• Assist in planning and execution of internal audit engagements with stakeholders and audit programs.
• Identify key risk areas, gaps, and weaknesses in internal controls; provide improvement recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports for management and the Board; conduct follow‑ups on action plans.
• Manage audit projects from initiation to completion; perform initial review of team work.
• Support reviews and enhancements of audit processes, procedures and systems.
• Promote robust policies on internal controls, risk management and governance.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks, investigations and initiatives to improve the audit function.
