Job summary

OUS Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment operations, systems, and programs across the organization. You will drive hiring strategies, talent networks, onboarding, and employer branding with strong governance and data-informed decisions.

You will partner with HR leaders and external providers to deliver optimized hiring outcomes, governance, and scalable processes in a mining and heavy industries context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in mining, construction, or heavy industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly and assess candidates effectively.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic recruitment approaches for key personnel, vacancies, replacements, and succession planning.
• Design and improve enterprise-wide recruitment systems, tools, and standardized processes.
• Use data and analytics to optimize hiring efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory adherence.
• Lead onboarding processes and programs, leveraging feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute a strategic employer branding approach aligned to business objectives.
• Establish governance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing for consistency and scalability.
• Stay updated on market trends and recruitment technologies to enhance talent acquisition.
