Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in business development or related sales role.
• Proven track record of identifying and closing opportunities.
• Strong market analysis, planning and growth strategy knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning.
• Lead negotiation and closure of new business contracts and agreements.
• Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations to implement initiatives.
• Track and report on BD metrics, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
• Mentor junior BD team members.
