Job summary

Private Advertiser, a Bursa-listed engineering solutions provider, seeks a General Manager to lead operations and drive sustainable growth across engineering, manufacturing and business functions. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the GM will execute strategy, strengthen governance, manage risk, and ensure project delivery within scope, budget and schedule while advancing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general manager role.
• Proven track record in managing operations within engineering, business, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong governance, risk management and compliance in a listed company environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of all operational functions aligned to Group objectives.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline.
• Establish and enforce robust internal controls, governance frameworks, and corporate governance standards.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality assurance standards, and safety policies.
• Lead technical advancement and innovation in fabrication, engineering processes, and design capabilities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to enhance operational performance.
• Support corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions initiatives, and business expansion plans.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
