Job summary

Malaysia-based multinational manufacturer seeks a Finance Business Partner to lead site/customer level P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month-end close. You will partner with operations to drive cost productivity and profitable growth, and manage intercompany transfers, costing and IFRS 15 related processes.

You will own quarterly and annual budgeting, provide financial modeling, and support regional FP&A with data transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and multinational culture is important.
• SAP is a plus.
• Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment and processes is a bonus.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial forecast, costing and managerial accounting.
• Good understanding of integrated business applications i.e. SAP.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for site/customer level financial bridging and deep dive analysis.
• Ownership for Customer P&Ls and financial profitability; lead monthly site/customer level P&L reviews with business and operations.
• Partner with business/operations to drive cost productivity improvement and profitable growth.
• Review cost productivity projects and validate savings.
• Coordinate with intercompany site on business transfers.
• Quotation and repricing reviews, financial modeling and scenario simulations.
• Manage timely month/quarter/year end closing, costing and reporting.
• Handle critical accounting processes, inventory management, costing, IFRS 15 revenue recognition, warranty and related standards.
• Perform monthly critical balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
• Weekly cost tracking and management.
• Coordinate with corporate and regional FP&A for data transparency.
• Own innovation and drive process simplification and automation.
• Other ad-hoc assignments.
