Job summary

Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd seeks a Finance Manager to drive strategic financial planning and robust accounting operations across its Malaysian retail network. You will lead month-end closes, tax compliance, and internal controls while delivering data-driven insights for cross-functional teams.

The role requires ACCA qualification, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, and 6–10 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Qualifications

• ACCA qualification is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in QSR, Retail F&B, FMCG, or Franchise Operations is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates integrity and strong ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and ability to present data clearly to top management.
• Expertise in financial modeling (DCF, ROI, scenario analysis) and cost-benefit evaluation.
• Proficiency in data presentation/visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Solid understanding of Malaysian statutory regulations, corporate taxation, SST, and MFRS/IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, store-level revenue reconciliation, inventory accounting, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
• Ensure tax compliance, managing corporate tax filings, SST submissions, and statutory audits.
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard cash handling, manage inventory shrinkage, and optimize working capital.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial planning across outlets and channels.
• Conduct granular financial analysis including SSSG, outlet margin, profitability, and COGS variance tracking.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Marketing to drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Build financial models for store openings, product innovations, and capex proposals.
• Transform financial data into dashboards, executive decks, and BI reports for top management and the Board.
• Lead, mentor, and elevate team members with a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
