Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, accounting, and reporting. You will shape budgets, forecasts, and strategic analysis to support growth.

The role requires 5–7 years in finance, with at least 2 in management, strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. You will mentor staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee accounting processes, including ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and statutory regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors, employees, and statutory authorities.
• Liaise with external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting staff.
• Support management in business strategy, investment decisions, and financial risk management.
• Participate in financial modeling, cost analysis, and pricing strategies.
