Job summary

PGH GROUP TRADING SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Finance Department beyond traditional accounting. You will build a world-class finance function that supports growth, strengthens controls, and prepares the company for future expansion.

This is a leadership role rather than a pure accounting position. You will partner with Directors and department heads to deliver insights on sales, marketing ROI, profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• over 10 years finance experience.
• At least 5 years leading a finance team.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong internal control experience.
• ERP implementation experience is an advantage.
• Experience in multinational company or listed company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Department.
• Coach and mentor finance team members.
• Build succession planning.
• Create a high-performance finance culture.
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts, Financial Statements, Budget, Forecast, Cash Flow Planning and Variance Analysis.
• Work closely with Directors and Department Heads to provide financial insights for sales performance, marketing ROI, department profitability, cost control, investment decisions and business expansion.
• Design and implement SOP, Internal Control, Approval Matrix, Delegation of Authority, Finance Policies and Risk Management Framework.
• Lead projects including ERP Improvement, Digitalisation, Automation, Process Improvement, Dashboard Development and KPI Reporting.
• Lead External Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Planning, Statutory Compliance and Company Secretary Coordination.
• Partner with Directors in Annual Budget, 3-Year Business Plan, 5-Year Corporate Roadmap and IPO Readiness Planning.
