Job summary

Eaton Corporation, based in Malaysia, seeks a Finance Manager to lead finance and accounting activities for the Electrical business in Selangor. You will oversee monthly closes, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow, while ensuring compliance with VAT, WHT, CIT, and statutory reporting.

This role partners with commercial teams to optimize margins and mitigate risk, supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

CPA qualification and finance leadership experience.
Experience in a distribution/import/export/product environment preferred.
Strong accounting knowledge and computer literacy.
Familiarity with US GAAP and related statutory reporting.
Experience with SAP and commercial finance functions.

Responsibilities

Manage and support finance and accounting activities, lead monthly closing and forecasting.
Coordinate budgeting, reconciliations, reporting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with local tax requirements including VAT, WHT, and CIT.
Act as strategic partner to commercial teams, review contracts and pricing terms.
Monitor project margins and support risk management and controls.
Provide financial guidance to SCM, Commercial, and CSR teams.
Prepare and present financial results and insights to leadership.
Support audits and drive timely resolution of findings.
Drive continuous improvement across finance and related functions.
Lead ad hoc finance projects and system upgrades.
