The candidate will partner with regional management, drive FP&A, budgeting, and continuous process improvements while ensuring MFRS compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification status (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with strong managerial background.
• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) required to interact with regional stakeholders.
• Proven experience with group consolidation, inter-company reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting.
• Well-versed in FP&A, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Direct experience in trading or commodity industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SST/GST/VAT, import/export documentation, and related tax procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations across the Group, ensuring timely closings.
• Manage group consolidation, inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Supervise treasury and cash flow management; optimize working capital and FX exposure.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for performance improvement.
• Coordinate external audits and tax compliance within regulatory frameworks.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support senior management decisions.
• Mentor and develop the finance team to uphold high performance.
