• Bachelor's level or higher in accounting/finance with professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA/CA).

• Experience with MFRS, consolidation, FP&A, and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation.
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with MFRS.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and uniform accounting policies.
• Handle accounting for acquisitions, disposals, goodwill, and impairment.
• Prepare management accounts and Board reporting packs.
• Lead preparation of quarterly results announcements and ensure timely submission of audited financials.
• Act as liaison with external auditors and Audit Committee.
• Drive standardisation of finance processes across subsidiaries.
• Partner with business units to monitor revenue, margins, inventory, and KPIs.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting; develop financial models and scenario analysis.
• Oversee group cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Drive cost control initiatives and support pricing strategies.
• Assist in M&A financial analysis and due diligence.

Financial Controller (2 Positions Available)

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with MFRS
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and uniform accounting policies
• Handle accounting for acquisitions, disposals, goodwill, and impairment
• Prepare management accounts and Board reporting packs

Bursa & Regulatory Compliance

• Lead preparation of quarterly results announcements
• Ensure timely submission of audited financial statements and annual reports
• Draft financial-related announcements (variance, RPT, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of disclosures

Audit & Governance

• Act as key liaison with external auditors and Audit Committee
• Strengthen internal controls and financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Process Improvement

• Improve reporting timelines and automation
• Drive standardisation of finance processes across subsidiaries

Key Responsibilities

Business & Operational Finance

• Partner with business units to improve profitability and cost efficiency
• Monitor revenue, margins, inventory, and operational KPIs
• Analyse performance trends and provide actionable insights

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
• Develop financial models and scenario analysis
• Track performance against budget and highlight risks/opportunities

Treasury & Cash Flow

• Oversee group cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Optimise inventory, receivables, and payables cycles
• Manage banking facilities and funding requirements

Cost Optimisation & Performance

• Drive cost control initiatives across operations
• Improve financial discipline and accountability
• Support pricing and margin improvement strategies

Strategic & Project Support

• Support capex evaluation and investment decisions
• Assist in M&A financial analysis and due diligence
• Drive finance transformation initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting / Finance, professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA/CA)
• 8–12 years of experience in accounting finance
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, Consolidation, FP&A, and business partnering
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to travel from KL to Kuantan.
