Job summary

PLAYA Racquet Club is seeking a purchasing professional to oversee day-to-day procurement of F&B supplies, bar stock, and equipment. You will source and onboard suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in procurement or purchasing, preferably in F&B or hospitality. Strong English and Bahasa Melayu are required, with Mandarin/Cantonese a plus, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in F&B, hospitality, or a related industry is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable dealing with suppliers and negotiating on price.
• Organised, follows through, and doesn't drop the ball on pending orders.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written); Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day purchasing of F&B supplies, bar stock, equipment, and operational items.
• Sourcing and onboarding suppliers; maintaining and reviewing the vendor list.
• Negotiating pricing and payment terms to keep costs in check.
• Raising and processing purchase orders; ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinating with the kitchen, bar, and operations teams on stock needs.
• Monitoring inventory levels and flagging shortfalls before they become problems.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and supporting monthly cost reporting.
