Job summary

Genesis Millennium Falcon SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Senior Event & Communications Specialist for Infinix Malaysia to lead strategic partnerships, coordinate events and brand activations, and grow online and offline communities.

You will manage partnerships, launches, campaigns, and influencer programs, collaborating with agencies, venues, and internal teams to deliver integrated marketing that aligns with brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Brand Communications, IP Partnerships, Event Planning, or Integrated Marketing.
• Experience with consumer technology, smartphones, lifestyle brands, or esports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop brand partnerships, sponsorship, and collaboration opportunities.
• Build relationships with brands, platforms, event organizers, communities, and industry partners.
• Lead partnership discussions, align objectives, define collaboration scope, and manage key deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate product launches, media events, roadshows, retail activations and esports events.
• Collaborate with agencies, vendors, venues, talents, partners, and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution.
• Develop event concepts and experiences aligned with campaign and brand objectives.
• Grow and strengthen Infinix's online and offline communities.
• Monitor community sentiment and translate insights into communications opportunities.
• Oversee allocation and utilization of marketing resources across PR, partnerships, events, and influencer campaigns.
• Manage branded merchandise, assets, product seeding, and event resources.
