Flex is seeking a Buyer Direct for Batu Kawan, Penang. You will coordinate procurement of direct materials, engage suppliers, track orders and ensure on-time delivery to support production planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years in buying or procurement, with responsibility for supplier performance and cost optimization. Competitive benefits offered in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires minimum 4 years of buyer, purchasing or procurement experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintain relations with suppliers and coordinate orders.
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts per production needs.
• Receive and process confirmations and adjust POs with plan changes.
• Track shipments and expedite where needed; weekly stock checks.
• Monitor inventory to avoid overstock and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses for transport.
• Review requisitions and MRP output to align production.
• Approve invoices for payment and resolve claims/discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records, data privacy and supplier performance.
